A Filipino as A Reader

Reading is one of the recreational activity during our leisure time. We can entertain ourselves by reading different references like encyclopedia and dictionary for educational references and others are novels, short stories,poems and many other references.

As a Filipino reader, I can appreciate different things that has been express by the author of a particular book than seeing it in the actual for example they will make a movie through that story. In movies its only a summary or important scenes of the book but if you read the book itself we will know every details of the story. We will know how the author expresses his or her way in writing.

Reading is important to us because we can perceive the form and relation of printed or written characters in a story. We will apprehend the meaning of something and we can infer what is not express or obvious as a hidden or true meaning of what we read. And through reading we can also gain knowledge, ideas,information, important details and we can learn through it especially in reading the literature of our country.
